About The Position

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our production team in Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who has a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring all aluminum products meet company and customer standards. You’ll inspect materials and finished goods using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other precision tools to identify defects, verify measurements, and maintain quality control records. As the final checkpoint before shipping, you’ll help ensure that only products meeting specifications leave the facility—playing a key role in maintaining Jordan Aluminum’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience (required)
  • Must have strong visual acuity for reading orders, inspecting parts, and identifying product variations
  • Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive motion

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of quality control or inspection experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documentation
  • Proficiency using precision measurement devices and inspection tools

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and physical inspections to detect defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Interpret technical drawings and product requirements to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Record inspection data and maintain accurate, detailed quality reports.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to the production and management teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
