About The Position

The Quality Inspector works on the Reverse Logistics Asset Recovery Team, inspecting manufacturing processes and incoming components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met. The role includes first article and regular incoming inspections, as well as checking testing and sampling procedures. It may also involve monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation, drafting procedures, helping validate or troubleshoot testing methods, and applying approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after analytical data is evaluated. Experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in Incoming QA, is preferred.

Requirements

4–6 years of related experience.
Experience using microscopes, micrometers, dial test indicators, power and hand tools, surface-gaging instruments, and a digital camera.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and highly proficient knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) application.
Proficiency using a PC or laptop and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills.
Trustworthiness and ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with others in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with or in the semiconductor industry, preferably in an Incoming QA department.
Experience with SAP or a similar MRP system.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and check testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes.
Carry out packaging-line and manufacturing inspections, and sample and test incoming components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met.
Perform first article inspections and regular incoming inspections.
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.
May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.
May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after analytical data is evaluated.
Create detailed inspection reports for internal customers.
