About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Wichita, KS. This is a first shift job that pays $18.00/hr. The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. They will contain non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies and rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. This role requires the use of methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material. The inspector determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job and grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment. They will communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source. Technical requirements include the ability to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies. The role also involves utilizing the company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.

• 1+ year in Quality related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
