About The Position

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing and documenting inspections supporting a project team with various tasks, including but not limited to performing different types of inspections (Welding, Dimensional, Visual, etc.), generating required inspection reports, coordinating quality inspections with subcontractors and vendors, coordinating all on-site nondestructive testing, completing and coordinating the approval of site QC technical submittals with the customer, coordinating with the customer's representative on all quality matters, and performing receiving inspections of equipment and material. All employees are subject to pre-employment drug screens.

Requirements

• Experienced in ASME and AWS codes
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Proficient with learning and applying technical concepts
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively on the phone and in person.
• Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)

Nice To Haves

• AWS CWI Certification Preferred
• Additional NDE certifications preferred (VT, PT or LT)
