About The Position

JD Machine Corp. is hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure machined and processed parts meet customer and aerospace-level standards. The role works with parts that may have undergone processes such as anodizing, painting, and chem film treatment; verifies them against blueprint specifications using inspection equipment; reviews certifications and documentation; and completes inspection records in accordance with AS9100 standards. The inspector also supports audits and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a weekend-shift opportunity with a schedule of 36 hours while being paid for 40. Requirements

• At least 1 year of quality inspection experience, or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined and processed parts, including parts that have undergone anodizing, painting, chem film, and other processes.
• Verify parts meet blueprint specifications using micrometers, calipers, a CMM, an optical comparator, and a surface plate.
• Review and approve certifications and documentation.
• Complete inspection records in accordance with AS9100 standards.
• Support audits and continuous improvement efforts.
