About The Position
Sandvik Coromant is seeking a dynamic and results-orientated Quality Inspector to join their team in Mebane, NC. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing routine inspections and spot checks to ensure products meet quality standards, supporting calibration schedules, and assisting with basic quality documentation.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and Microsoft Office.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality role is required.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct process and finished goods inspections.
- Log inspection results in GSS and report findings to Quality Manager.
- Assist with gauge calibration and maintain database accuracy.
- Support sorting/rework activities and supplier product checks.
