About The Position

Quality Inspector Duties for this position include Monitor part and process quality and support the implementation and sustenance of the corrective and preventative actions and countermeasures. Work closely cross-functionally to ensure consistent high quality. Audit manufacturing lines against approved manufacturing processes, procedures, and requirements. Verify and audit incoming, in-process, and outgoing material to CelLink and Customer Quality and Engineering requirements and specifications. Promptly communicate emerging and trending quality issues. Lead and co-ordinate containment, sorting, and MRB activities as needed. Support and participate in Quality System Development activities. Train operators/inspectors regarding quality, inspection, and rework. Support drafting, reviewing various documents, such as Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, etc. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience/Education High school diploma required (College degree or equivalent preferred but not required) 1 or more years of experience in a Quality Inspection role

Requirements

  • High school diploma required (College degree or equivalent preferred but not required)
  • 1 or more years of experience in a Quality Inspection role
  • Mechanical inspection experience using basic and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc).
  • Familiar with common workplace software (Microsoft Office).
  • Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and new technology.
  • Strong organization skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S
  • Prior start-up experience
