The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing all inspection functions as described in applicable Standard Operating Procedures. This role supports manufacturing by ensuring rework is done in accordance with rework instructions and by checking all production lines. The inspector must ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and may be assigned other duties. Key responsibilities include visual inspection, verifying correct quantities and labels, performing tape tests, ensuring documentation accuracy, identifying and reporting defects, conducting additional testing (including sampling, drops, and hydros), collecting samples during mold changes, and implementing preventive measures. The role also involves maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to food safety protocols, and ensuring personal hygiene.
