About The Position
This individual works independently most often without direct supervision and is responsible for performing a variety of inspection procedures including lab inspection and use of the Taylor Hobson probes, etc. and must be capable of planning and executing much of their own work.
Requirements
- High School or Technical High School diploma
- Ability to use a variety of gages and read blue prints
- Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Must have experience and be adept with using a wide variety of measuring instruments such as, but not limited to micrometers, dial indicators, torque and radial clearance gages, verniers, etc.
- Must be able to keep appropriate records and report discrepancies to either the Supervisor or Lead.
- This individual must keep their work area(s) in a neat and clean fashion and will periodically move parts from one department to another.
