About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector in Valencia, CA! As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct in-process inspections of parts, components, and assemblies to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications. You will use precision measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to inspect dimensions, tolerances, and overall part integrity. The role involves identifying, documenting, and reporting non-conformances, defects, or deviations from specifications during the production process. You will collaborate with production personnel and supervisors to address quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner. Maintaining detailed and accurate inspection records, including inspection reports, data sheets, and logs, is crucial. You will also ensure proper handling and storage of inspected items to prevent damage, assist in troubleshooting quality issues, and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency. Ensuring that inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated, and following all safety protocols, are also key responsibilities. This is a Full-Time 2nd Shift Opportunity with hours from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (after initial training). The pay range offered is $18 - $22/hr.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Must pass a drug and background check
ITAR compliant
Ability to read and speak English.
