Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inspection of Paint and Final Inspection.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation to work.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, and general procedures.
  • Must be able to interpret and understand OEM specifications
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.)
  • Good attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aerospace processing inspection, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspects materials, parts, and products at internal and external receipt including different stages of production as well as from outside machining operations.
  • Records observations, certificates of conformance, may provide first article inspection support.
  • Ensure work orders and parts from are inspected appropriately, matched, and sent for final or processing operations.
  • Inspection of large aluminum machined parts as well as Part Configuration, Detail part orientation, and final assembly to blueprint requirements.
  • Daily use of inspection tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers and other gages.
