ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacture, inspect, and package products following written processes. Use microscope to assemble small components and inspect materials. Utilization of microscopes, magnifiers, and small tools to complete work instruction Meet or exceed daily production standards. Perform in-process quality inspections to standards, readily identify, and escalate quality issues. Comply with all policies, work instructions, procedures,ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Cross-train across multiple operations within the quality department Prepare and submit Fai and FAIR packages to customers Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Ability to make product judgements based on procedures and drawings. Ability to operate automated inspection equipment. Ability to utilize variable and attribute measuring equipment to determine product acceptance. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Understanding manufacturing practices Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and blueprint interpretation Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers Strong reading skills and visual comprehension Familiarity with blueprints and schematics Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Good arithmetic to perform basic computations Ability to prioritize workloads Knowledge of AS9100D with ISO 9001: 2015 preferred Other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to complete Assembler Quality System Training Three (3) years of work experience in quality Desired Trade or vocational school within manufacturing industry PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
