Overview: Honeybee Robotics, a member of the Blue Origin family of companies, has been at the forefront of robotics for over 40 years. Our Colorado-based Motion Control Business Unit designs, manufactures, and tests high-performance motion control components and integrated solutions — from actuators and gearboxes to motors and precision control systems — for NASA, defense, and commercial programs, including NASA's Artemis I Mission and the Roman Space Telescope. Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector III to response for effective verification of manufactured or supplied product or processes against requirements. You will be highly skilled at programming and operating a CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine), as well as effectively utilizing all standard measurement devices in Receiving Inspection. The QI applies methods and follows documentation requirements for product or process verification from established baselines including customer quality and Blue Origins quality standards. The position has responsibility for providing inputs for certification data packages, and contract quality data. The QI serves a contributing role in the analysis of process and product defect data, including root-cause, in support of the development of corrective and preventive action, and continual improvement planning. Other activities include support roles during internal and customer quality system and other quality audits.
