About The Position

The Quality Inspector II is responsible for leading quality control activities and conducting detailed inspections and tests on products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves advanced quality control techniques, data analysis, and collaboration with production teams to enhance product quality. Responsibilities of this position includes Hands-on tasks such as measuring product dimensions, documenting findings, and performing routine quality assessments. The inspector must be able to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision while maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

High School or associate degree and experience in battery pack testing and assembly
1 - 3 years of experience in technical training or manufacturing training

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of electronic processes, battery safety and components.
Experience in high voltage battery environment.
Experience within Battery industry preferred
Quality inspection experience with AS9100

Responsibilities

Performing inspections on materials, products, assemblies, sub-assemblies.
Reading drawings, comprehending specifications and tolerances, comparing results with specifications and recording test data, conferring with engineers, technicians and production personnel as necessary.
Performing dimensional and visual verifications of machined parts to acceptance criteria.
Reviewing documents supplied with material and parts to acceptance criteria, such as dimensional reports, traceability reports and certificates of conformity.
Developing and maintaining inspection plans per drawing requirements.
Working closely with engineering, production and management teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Ensuring all existing working procedures, and processes are followed.
Completing In-Process, Final, & Receiving inspections and documenting and maintaining inspection results.
