Quality Inspector II

About The Position

In this role, your responsibilities will include adhering to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. You will perform First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T of component during troubleshooting of failed valves. You will also perform Receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspection as per the procedures. Additionally, you will participate in quality audits and inspections, addressing any findings and implementing necessary corrective actions. All product inspections and tests will be performed in accordance with established quality standards, inspection plans, and test procedures. You will be responsible for documenting nonconformance reports with adequate details.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of Quality inspection experience
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and capable to perform inspection.
  • Proficient in use of all general Measuring & Test equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • High-energy, dynamic personality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Welding/ NDE inspection ASME codes (I, II, V, VIII, and IX), PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive) is preferred.
  • Programming knowledge in ZEISS CALYPSO or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS or HEXAGON -PC-DMIS and running CMM/portable ARM is preferred.
  • Working experience in Assembly/Test of valves (or) Machining is preferred.
