About The Position

The Quality Inspector II role encompasses a range of key responsibilities aimed at ensuring product and process excellence. This position involves inspecting and testing materials, components, and products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications, as well as documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records. The role requires collaboration with engineering and production teams to identify and address quality issues, utilizing precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings effectively. Responsibilities also include ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards, conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) on production test articles, and participating in internal and external audits as needed. A strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently while managing time efficiently are essential. This is for 1st shift: Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to provide feedback to production teams to prevent recurring defects.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical or vocational training in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in quality inspection or a similar role
