About The Position

MW Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector I for their 2nd shift. This role is responsible for performing inspections, testing products, and conducting quality-related activities to ensure products meet company quality requirements and safety standards. The position also involves generating quality documents for shipping, collaborating with engineering on quality specifications, and undertaking assigned projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and reading skills, familiarity with blueprints, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A High School Diploma/GED is required, with a minimum of one year of quality work experience. The role involves regular use of hands, arms, and voice, a steady work pace, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The work environment includes typical shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes.

Requirements

• Strong communication and oral skills with internal and external customers
• Strong reading skills and visual comprehension
• Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
• Computer literal with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good arithmetic to perform basic computations
• Ability to prioritize workloads
• Knowledge of AS9100D with ISO 9001: 2015
• High School Diploma/GED
• One (1) or more years of work experience in quality
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, pull and push with hands and arms, reach overhead, and talk or hear
• Steady work pace required due to production requirements
• Able to lift to 25 pounds
• Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching

• Trade or vocational school within manufacturing industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, test products, and perform quality related activities
• Ensure inspected products meet company quality requirements and safety standards
• Generate quality documents for shipping per customer requirements
• Work with engineering to make sure all quality specifications are properly flowed down
• Perform projects as assigned by Engineer and Quality Manager
