About The Position

The Quality Inspector I will perform basic inspections and sorting of incoming materials, parts/components. Provide support as needed to the Operations group. This role is within the MedTech sector, which is fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1 year or less in a manufacturing environment - Medical device experience a plus.
  • Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures
  • Basic knowledge in math
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision
  • Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device experience a plus.
  • Knowledge in ISO and GMP. US FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485 a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of purchased parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements
  • Ability to perform visual inspection on large lots size under a microscope.
  • Accurately document the results of inspections and testing
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform data entry into associated data systems.
