Quality Inspector I
About The Position
Dover Food Retail is seeking a Quality Inspector I. The role is accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions. This includes operating machinery to install pieces, parts, or components on in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies as they move along the line; moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods; monitoring output quality and identifying faulty products for discard or remanufacture; and maintaining accurate daily assembly production records for manufacturing performance analysis. This is an entry-level Support 1 position that typically requires little to no prior knowledge or experience. Work is routine or follows standard procedures, is closely supervised, and involves communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
