About The Position

Boeing is seeking aspiring inspectors to join their Quality Inspector Apprenticeship program in Huntsville, AL. This program is designed to equip new team members with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It is a full-time, company-sponsored on-the-job training program. The apprenticeship helps learners develop essential skills, with assignments structured for learning experiences leading to course completion in a skill area. The Quality Inspector cohort is a 7-week program. Upon completion, candidates will demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work of a Quality Inspector, including interpreting drawings and blueprints, setting up and operating measuring instruments, following inspection and statistical sampling procedures, and setting up equipment for product and assembly testing using various devices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic computer experience and competency
  • Experience working with precision measuring tools
  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • An Interim U.S Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
