About The Position
The Quality Inspection Technician role is located at our Duane Arnold facility in Palo, IA. The position requires Level 1 Receipt Inspection certification. At the Duane Arnold Plant this position performs technical, quality, and safety-related material and equipment receipt inspections, in accordance with Federal, Nuclear Regulatory, and Corporate policies and procedures. Employees in this role identify material and equipment shipments that do not comply with governing policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- 3+ years experience
- Level 1 Receipt Inspection certification
Responsibilities
- Performs Augmented Quality Related quality level receipt inspections
- Creates receipt inspection plans and checklists for each inspection
- Establishes inspection priorities in alignment with plant priorities
- Generates and processes Deficiency Reports, resulting from non-conformance of incoming materials
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
