About The Position

The Quality, Infection Prevention & Employee Health Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, Infection Prevention and Control Program, and Employee Health Program. This position promotes a culture of quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards. The Manager collaborates with physicians, department directors, Human Resources, and Administration to improve patient outcomes, reduce organizational risk, maintain survey readiness, and support a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or obtained within an approved timeframe.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or compact multistate license.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • Previous experience in Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention, Employee Health, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC) preferred or obtained within two years of eligibility.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
