Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Minimum of two years of experience in Developmental Disabilities or Intellectual Disabilities
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Critical thinking
Organizational proficiency

Nice To Haves

Familiarity in working with OPWDD and the NYS Justice Center, particularly regarding 624 and 625 regulations
Background in quality assurance, risk monitoring, and corrective action strategies
Solid understanding of investigative techniques and labor relations

Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive quality assurance activities, including audits and surveys
Developing and monitoring corrective action plans to enhance operational effectiveness
Serving as the agency Investigator for reportable incidents in compliance with 624 regulations
Bringing expertise to critical investigations that uphold our commitment to customer-centricity and integrity
Directly impacting the quality of service we provide
