About The Position

The Quality Improvement Coordinator RN will work to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience by promoting stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration. This role involves implementing standard performance and process improvement (PPI) methods, acquiring data from source systems, identifying and reporting patient safety risks, and ensuring continuous regulatory compliance. The coordinator will also monitor the impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards.

Requirements

Current RN licensure upon hire Required
Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care setting required
Microsoft Office skills, knowledgeable in the application of statistical data.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Master's Degree health-related field preferred
1 year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality 3 years preferred
Prefer Knowledge of Joint Commission and standards, PI tools, Lean Principles and statistical analysis.
