About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and proper functioning of gauges and instruments through meticulous record-keeping, inventory management, and calibration tracking. The technician will manage both in-house and subcontracted gauges, maintain detailed records of product line overlays and supplemental kits, and oversee the process of sending and receiving gauges for repair. Additionally, the role involves maintaining calibration certificates from manufacturers and updating inventory for gauge accessories.

Requirements

• Proficiency in OnBase software for record-keeping and inventory management.
• Ability to track and manage calibration status for gauges and instruments.
• Experience maintaining inventory of product line overlays and supplemental kits.
• Skills in managing files related to gauge and instrument repair.
• Capability to maintain and organize calibration certificates.
• Experience updating and maintaining calibration records.
• Ability to manage and order gauge accessories.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that gauge/instrument records are completed in OnBase.
• Maintain inventory of all gauges in OnBase.
• Ensure that all in-house and subcontracted gauges are in calibration.
• Maintain inventory of all product line overlays and supplemental kits.
• Maintain files associated with sending/receiving gauges and instruments from repair.
• Maintain calibration certificates from manufacturers.
• Update and maintain calibration records.
• Update gauge accessory inventory (i.e. MRP shoes, contact points, extension, etc.) by ordering required components.
