About The Position

The purpose of this position is to assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing/inspecting/evaluating the precision and accuracy of products manufactured by Marle Elite. This role provides support to Operations and Engineering, ensuring Marle’s requirements are met while adhering to the quality policy and quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Technical Degree from a four-year college or a two-year degree from a technical school or be a certified Quality Engineer with 2 + years of work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-house quality inspection plans for all current and future customer products to include appropriate gauging, measurement and testing equipment.
  • Assist in the receiving, in-process, and finished inspection of components, assemblies and raw materials as required.
  • Lead internal audits.
  • Provide customer-related quality and regulatory support.
  • Handle customer returns and complaints and assist with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
  • Determine whether product conforms to product specification.
  • Document and maintain setup-tooling sheets for all projects.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports as required.
  • Train other Elite-Medical employees in proper procedures.
  • Promote continuous improvement of processes under his/her supervision.
  • Follow Marle’s environmental and safety procedures.
  • Work with all departments to aid as necessary.
  • Follow written and verbal directions from company officers.
  • Perform non-routine tasks assigned by supervisor and/or company officers.
