The Quality Engineering Technician will work closely with Quality Engineering to provide reports, charts, graphs and anything else needed to define, measure, analyze, improve and control product and process quality from their respective shops. The successful candidate must have mechanical aptitude, the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to both take direction and work independently. Lead the organization and completion of Quality trials working with Quality Engineers and Quality Techs Drive the creation and maintenance of Quality Instruction documents Support Quality Engineers in root cause analysis of materialized quality issues Work closely with manufacturing, process, and suppliers to establish processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high quality Maintain, update, and validate product and quality plans and control plans Leads line to line root cause issues/solutions to increase and maintain quality metrics and performance Develop and implement daily process/line specific audit plans for Quality Technicians. Compile and review results with cross-functional teams
