Job Summary: Develop, implement and coordinate product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering with an emphasis in Quality Assurance, or related experience in Quality Assurance is required.
• High mechanical aptitude
• Good statistical analysis skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; and have the ability to develop a team atmosphere. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff.
• Good written and verbal skills
• Multi-task abilities, organized, excellent time management skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of ISO, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, delivery documents and supplier’s material certification and cross relate them to company standards.
• Monitors production quality on manufacturing floor to see a reduction in repetitive rejections.
• Responsible for maintenance of Customer Complaint Log and coordination of Non-conformance Corrective Actions.
• Reviews quality records for legibility, completeness, and accuracy to ensure compliance to requirements.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving issues with scrap and other manufacturing issues.
• Work with manufacturing when process changes occur to assure Quality requirements are maintained.
• Supports in-process, final process and product audits.
