About The Position

The QET 1 (Quality Engineering Technician 1) will support quality control activities, perform inspections, and assist in maintaining quality systems within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role, preferably in an electronics or related industry.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications and control plans.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation under supervision.
• Perform basic calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in quality audits and process improvements as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
