The Quality Engineering Support is responsible for supporting quality improvement projects, ensuring that changes to processes and drawings are complete, as well as monitoring performance.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- Is in a registered co-op program and available for an 8, or 12-month placement starting in the Fall 2026 Co-op work term.
- Has a key interest in engineering design and manufacturing.
- Can be proficient in Visual Basic
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Some manufacturing experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of operational performance metrics.
- Summarizing and presenting reports.
- Identification of operational issues.
- Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action identification (problem-solving activity).
- Supporting process owners with change management.
