Quality Engineering Senior Supervisor (Onsite - Brookings, SD)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a science, engineering, technology, or math (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution
- Eight (8) years of engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five (5) years of Quality experience
- A current, valid driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Nice To Haves
- Experience applying statistical methods and root cause analysis techniques to investigate and resolve quality, process, or product‑related issues
- Supervisory experience
- Experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies and/or participating in project management activities within engineering, quality, or manufacturing environments
- Audit/inspection experience
Responsibilities
- Leading the Quality Engineering team to support site priorities and quality objectives
- Overseeing plans and initiatives aimed at achieving sustained quality improvements
- Identifying and developing engineering talent through hiring, coaching, and ongoing development
- Partnering with Manufacturing to support and deliver key site projects
- Supporting critical Quality Management System (QMS) functions and related activities
- Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
