Quality Engineering Manager, CNC Aerospace Components Wheeling, Illinois | $110,000 – $130,000 DOE | Hired by TekPro for a leading aerospace machining facility Is this you? Do you thrive building and running a Quality Management System for complex, tight‑tolerance parts? Have you led internal and external audits and navigated demanding customer requirements? Are CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement second nature to you? Do you enjoy mentoring quality teams and partnering with engineering and production? Role snapshot Lead the QMS for aerospace machined components. Oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance across the shop floor. Drive effective corrective and preventive actions following structured root cause analysis. Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and diverse customer requirements. Plan and execute internal audits; host customer and regulatory audits. Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement initiatives. Develop talent and nurture a quality-first culture.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality leadership.
  • Expertise in quality systems, auditing, RCA, and CI methodologies.
  • Track record working closely with production and engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in aerospace machining or highly regulated manufacturing preferred.
