About The Position

Work directly with the Quality department under mentorship of a senior engineer to ensure quality compliance and standards. This position will be exposed to all quality activities within the organization; participating in audits, data collection, process improvement, and training and development. #CPE

Responsibilities

  • Support Quality Assurance Activities: Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans and inspection procedures. Participate in audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and finished goods.
  • Root Cause Investigation & Corrective Actions: Support investigations into customer-reported quality issues. Assist in identifying root causes using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Help implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement. Use statistical methods to evaluate process capability and product performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Prepare reports and presentations for internal quality reviews and customer communications.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing and quality processes. Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Participate in internal audits and support external audit readiness.
  • Training and Development: Attend training sessions on quality systems, tools, and company-specific procedures. Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in quality engineering practices.
