The Quality Engineer supports various departments (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain) through the development, evaluation, and implementation of processes related to Ducommun’s Quality Management System (QMS). Emphasis on knowledge of these processes for metal bonding, titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, and superalloys is necessary. Furthermore, the Quality Engineer is responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer requirements. Through evaluation of this data, the Quality Engineer must create compliant work packages, documents, drawings, and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports. The Quality Engineer is a focal team member with respect to non-conforming products (NCR/MRR), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, and Industry and Customer Audits. Who are we?
