Leidos is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Gunnery Training Systems (GTS), virtual gunnery simulators that provide initial familiarization, skills progression, and sustainment training for wheeled and tracked vehicle crews. The systems support precision and degraded-mode gunnery simulation and include technology refreshes, concurrency upgrades, production of current systems and new platform devices, RMF recertification, and embedded training. They provide students with experience using platform instrumentation, including sensors and switches, across varied terrain, environmental, and visibility conditions for U.S. Army, Department of Defense, and federal government programs and agencies. The Quality Engineer serves as the GTS program’s QA lead, working with Program Managers to plan and conduct quality surveillance, reviews, audits, and continuous improvement. The role maintains the Quality Assurance Program Plan, analyzes quality and service-performance data, supports process improvements and management reviews, and helps ensure program deliverables and quality objectives are met. The position also supports external audits and certification readiness at multiple sites, including required travel.
