In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below: Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications for the team. Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support the development of design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques. Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback effectively. Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure that engineering solutions meet design specifications and criteria. Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and feedback received from cross-functional team, to enhance functionality. Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, identify and resolve interoperability issues. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members. Requirements

  • Experience on PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles
  • Experience in aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience.
  • Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables.
  • Works on Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.).
  • Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
  • Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
  • Experience in Aerospace domain
  • Experience in ISO9000 or AS9100, FAA Part 21 and structural conformity requirements.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred)
  • Experience in Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
