About The Position

As a Quality Engineer at Indicon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical control products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and inspection techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and software (Six Sigma, statistical analysis, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Must have experience in a disciplined, responsive customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.
  • Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization.
