About The Position

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as a Quality Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the accurate execution of proactive and reactive quality improvement projects. You will devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. You will also design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis. Additionally, you will assist in creating engineering documentation and reports such as production part approval process (PPAP), control plans (CP), daily inspection sheets (DIS), temporary process authorization (TPA), AS412 instructions, lot acceptance tests (LAT), and test summary reports. You will lead root cause analysis efforts and corrective action implementation, ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. You will collaborate with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place and assist in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. You will provide feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
1-5 years experience preferred
Being able to effectively take ownership for work and make effective decisions.
Will need to get a passport as assigned duties may periodically take them out of the country.
Need to be available after hours and occasionally weekends.
Understanding of DOE and SPC concepts as it relates to process control.

Nice To Haves

Experience in SolidWorks & AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities
