About The Position

The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities within the JGAM Quality department. This role ensures compliance with IATF/ISO standards, assists with new product development, and maintains effective quality control processes throughout production. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and hands-on experience in stamping, molding, over molding, assembly, and wire harnessing operations in the connector or automotive industries.

• Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including Gage R&Rs and CPK studies.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and capability evaluations on new and modified tooling.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct and participate in internal audits, layered process audits (LPAs), and process verifications.
• Assist in documentation updates, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
