About The Position

The Quality Engineer will partner with customers to understand their QA needs and provide solutions. This role supports customer complaints with customers and suppliers, creates quality plans for standard products, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer will also review FAIS from the factory and send them to customers, perform and support internal AS9100 audits, and partner with suppliers as needed to support inspection gaps. This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline
• 1 year of experience in an engineering role, preferably customer-facing role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision
• Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of PPAP/FAI a plus
