About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Supplier Quality Engineer to support Boeing Global Services' Mesa Site Rotorcraft sustainment programs in Mesa, Arizona. The role supports all phases of the hardware development life cycle, including the supply base from inception through post-delivery. This is an onsite position.

The Quality Engineer investigates quality issues, contains product discrepancies, verifies product conformance, and helps ensure supplier and program processes meet contractual, Boeing Quality Management System, and regulatory requirements. The role also works with the DCMA customer on product or process verification and supports supplier performance improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course of study.
• At least 3 years of experience solving technical problems.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person, as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Previous experience in quality.
• ABET accreditation is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed Quality Engineering investigations, execute product containment, and implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results.
• Conduct product reviews with the DCMA customer during product or process verification.
• Identify and document discrepancies.
• Segregate and control non-conforming items.
• Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances for corrective action.
• Integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals, program processes, and documentation.
• Develop quality metrics and quality plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, and regulatory requirements.
• Process supplier notices of escapements.
• Perform supplier performance improvement.
