About The Position

AriensCo is seeking a passionate Quality Engineer - Manufacturing & Advanced Quality Planning to join our team in Brillion, WI. In this role, you will help ensure that manufacturing processes and products consistently meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. You will also play an integral role in establishing, implementing, and managing both existing and new quality initiatives, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations and/or technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Technical knowledge of steel fabrication and assembly processes
  • Project management experience
  • Capable of reviewing, understanding and critiquing Engineering drawings
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude
  • Firsthand experience in the creation of Control Plans and FMEA records
  • Solid understanding of the value of process auditing
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred
  • APQP Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers’ quality and engineering personnel to determine critical part features and review manufacturability of design. Make recommendations to modify customer part specifications and tolerances as necessary to support cost effective production
  • Provide Quality Engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques
  • Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources
  • Effectively communicate and reinforce company commitment to quality improvement efforts
  • Determine when process capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
  • Participate and coordinate with other department (i.e.: Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Tooling, Operations, etc.) product Quality planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new products and processes
  • Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action
  • Drive continuous improvement and elimination of waste using KPI metrics
  • Responsible and accountable to the performance of the Quality team/group
  • Define and help resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
