About The Position

Organize and execute test activities to ensure applications meet GM IT standards for functional, system, quality, security, performance, and architecture requirements. Drive test planning, execution, and quality reporting of software applications through project engagements and sustaining software test activities, including creation of manual and automated test cases and test execution plans. Maintain benches to ensure they are providing value to our customers. Develop in-house software and hardware tools and guides for our customers to enable more control of the bench for the end user. Maximize runtime on all assets. Monitor health of the lab using provided tools. Develop tools and processes to make the lab more capable and efficient. Provide support in analyzing and resolving customer issues. Guide customers to repository of knowledge articles and contribute to the articles. Document work appropriately in Jira.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an Infotainment Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Low-voltage electrical troubleshooting, including wiring and multimeter.
  • Two (2) years of experience with UDS Diagnostics.
  • Two (2) years of experience with CAN tools and software, including Vehicle Spy and CANoe.
  • Two (2) years of experience with System and Network Administrator.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Shell, Batch, and Powershell scripting.
  • Two (2) years of experience with CAN signal analysis using Vector test tools, including VehicleSpy and CANalyzer.
  • Two (2) years of experience reading and interpreting vehicle electrical architecture schematics and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Two (2) years of experience configuring both Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Electrical troubleshooting skills, including wiring, retrofitting infotainment sub-system benches, and bench testing property development and support.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing automation scripts to streamline operational activities, image PCs, and flash and debug Electronic Control units (ECUs) on the benches.
