About The Position

A new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll work directly with manufacturing operations entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses and audits are conducted on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet specifications.

Requirements

• Associate degree with 3+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience, OR Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD, OR 5+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

• Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
• SAP & Database project experience using C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, VBA, VBS and/or SQL
• Reading blueprints, employing inspection techniques & Lean Six Sigma tools
• GD&T system experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer escapes and performs eight-step problem solving analysis to prevent recurrence
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures
• Reporting of Rolls-Royce Corporate Quality performance metrics
• Develop programs to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and agency guidelines
