F119 Heavy Maintenance Center Quality Engineer The F119 HMC Quality team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The F119 HMC performs Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of the F119 Engine in a public / private partnership with the US Air Force. What You Will Do: The selected candidate must be able to work closely with Quality Inspectors, Process & Methods Engineers, Operations Team to support MRO Operations. Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment and teamwork. Communicate with various levels of management. Collect and analyze data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes. Lead the investigation of quality related work stops and turnbacks using Quality Improvement tools such as Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) and Quality Control Process Clinic (QCPC); support and facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence. Manage the disposition and RRCA of quality escapes. Manage the disposition and RRCA of quality escapes. Lead Quality System, process, and product audits. Assist 3rd Party Audits as required. Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence. Lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Generate and modify applicable Quality System documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or business field or equivalent experience and 2 years relevant experience
  • Travel up to 10%
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
