About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support product and process quality across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for investigating quality issues, driving corrective actions, improving process capability, supporting new product launches, and helping maintain robust quality systems and standards. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing quality experience, sound technical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, engineering, and supplier teams to deliver consistent results. A good faith estimate of the salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 dollars annually. This position is exempt for purposes of overtime reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or process quality role
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD &T, specifications and inspections
  • Knowledge of measurement systems, inspection methods, and calibration processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement lasting corrective actions
  • Experience supporting corrective and preventive action processes
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate internal and external nonconformances and drive corrective actions to effective closure
  • Support new product launches through APQP/PPAP activities, process readiness, and validation efforts
  • Monitor process capability, product quality, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement error-proofing solutions to reduce defects and improve consistency
  • Analyze warranty, scrap, rework, and defect trends to identify root causes and drive sustainable improvement
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve incoming and in-process quality performance
  • Lead or support audits, process reviews, control plan updates, and standard work improvements
  • Provide guide and direction to quality technicians and support alignment to plant quality objectives.
