RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES Determining root causes of defects and the implementation of actions to correct defects, to include Continuous Improvement Maintain corrective action database on the analysis of top defects; report to the Management Team the results and a prioritized reduction plan Daily walk throughs interacting with Production team including Production Technicians to gain an understanding of daily quality issues not being reported Responsible for Supplier Quality issues. Maintain Quality documentation (process books, auditor instructions, control plans, PFMEA, production and receiving, QA files) Assists with Hold Cage Management and disposition Assist with Quality auditor training related to quality standards for new products Reducing Production Scrap; problem solve with production, setup, automation and tool room personnel Manage HVPT and ESC processes including communication to the customer. Develop limit samples and management of them Internal process audits 3rd Party Audits if needed Local support of PPAP information and documentation. Assists with incoming inspection requirements. Responsible for GagePack including completing and scheduling calibrations Travel to customer's facilities to sort/repair product, when needed Adhere to Adkev, Inc. policies, procedures and instructions Adhere to Adkev, Inc.'s No Fault Attendance policy Maintain good housekeeping habits Performs other duties as requested by Management of Adkev, Inc. Education Required: BS Degree in Management or Quality or related field; or combination of education and experience Preferred: Experience Required: 3 years’ experience in Quality Control/analysis; Microsoft Office computer applications to include Word, Access, and Excel Preferred: Experience in automotive industry; Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives
