About The Position

Siemens Fort Worth, TX is looking for a qualified Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes, products, and systems. This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of an Associate’s degree and relevant work experience will also be considered
  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
  • Experience with statistical analysis and quality management tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE)
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Knowledge of the IMS standard (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and Internal auditor certification
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, etc.
  • Knowledge of measurement and testing equipment.
  • SAP experience
  • Familiarity with UL 891 and 857

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing quality control plans to ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and compliance issues.
  • Collaborating with design and production teams to integrate quality control measures into the manufacturing process.
  • Analyzing data and trends to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Performing risk assessments on manufacturing processes and work towards mitigating potential quality issues.
  • Overseeing the production related nonconformities.
  • Participating in the development and execution of quality plans for new products and processes.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Staying current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve quality systems.
  • Representing Siemens in a customer-facing role, interacting directly with our customers.
