About The Position

This position reports to the F-35 Sustainment Quality leader and is responsible for integration, coordination, and problem resolution of supplied products that are suspect of intended use. The position will focus on process execution and administration; coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to issue, track, receive/document and report official closure of Quality Concern Notifications that include Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Notice of Escapes, and Product Recall Process (material survey) through the life cycle until issue is contained and resolved. Will utilize various methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets. Will coordinate root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations, along with area improvement strategy and planning. Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing quality escapes to the field. Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement; this includes integration of core engineering, SQM, SCM, Production Aircraft/Material Survey Group, and R&M.

Requirements

  • Technical report writing
  • Quality Assurance experience in active flight operations environment
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop corrective action plans for product & policy non-conformance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • US Citizen for consideration (due to security clearance requirement)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Specific experience with the F-35 aircraft or other 5th generation platform
  • Process / procedure development
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Green Belt certification or equivalent experience with process improvement and optimization
  • High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals
  • Experience in presenting to leadership
