About The Position

Trane Technologies is offering a summer engineering internship at TK Greenville, a transport refrigeration manufacturer in Greenville, South Carolina. The intern will work with the Engineering Team and Quality Technicians on projects and daily activities in a manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, quality control, and process efficiency. The position is described as an on-site role, five days per week, for Summer 2025 (May through August). The posting also refers to the role as “Engineer” and “Engineering Intern.”

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university.
• Be pursuing a degree in Engineering.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Create AI agents or other automation for SPC controls.
• Work in the MES system to support quality-control integration.
• Support data collection for RIEs.
• Work on 9 step problem-solving teams.
• Provide weekly report-outs to leadership team members.
